The school was founded by late Mr. S.O. Apata as Success Coaching Classes in 1980; the zealous Educationist went into pedagogical business. He started success- oriented coaching classes with a few desks and benches in the open air. As a result of the rapid academic progress of the learners, the population increased tremendously and the service was extended from Primary to Secondary Classes. In 1983, Parents/Guardians of the learners implored the Institution to start morning classes. The Late Proprietor responded positively and started Day Care and Morning Coaching classes under the supervision of his wives. To support the then growing Institution financially, the hardworking man was teaching effectively in three places vis: Ajumoni Grammar School in the morning, Apata memorial coaching classes in the afternoon and Jibowu High School in the evening.
