Sport in the new University supports participation and performance in sport and the health and wellbeing of students and staff.
Sports Clubs provide a huge range of opportunities to train, play and compete in sport, no matter what your interest, ability or level. With nearly 40 Sports Clubs to choose from ranging from water sports, team sports and adventure sports, there is something for everyone! TU Dublin Sport reflects the commitment on the part of TU Dublin to excellence in Sport and through the Athlete Sport Programme the University supports higher standards of performance for elite sports individuals to excel and realise their full potential - both in sport and education, as well as making a positive impact on the future of Irish Sport.
Our Athlete Support Programme is for TU Dublin students who wish to compete and succeed at the highest sporting level while simultaneously pursuing an academic programme at the University. Through this programme elite and high performance athletes are given the opportunity of developing their sporting career by offering the highest standards in sport service provision and academic mentoring support.
TU Dublin Sport offers state of the art sports facilities, located on campus and at various sites to meet all your sporting and exercise needs. TU Dublin Sport comprises of a number of fitness centres with world class fitness equipment, sports halls and studios, all-weather and natural grass pitches and a host of other sporting facilities to support the provision of sports and physical activity programmes for students, staff and the local community.
