Is a public High School in Italy situated in Via Bragarina, 32/A - La Spezia.

The PRINCIPAL AIMS of the school are:

• Develop key citizenship skills, in particular "Learning to learn" and autonomy of initiative even with the use of new technologies;
• Create equal opportunities between students; 
• Improve students' foreign language skills.

One of the main objectives of the Fossati - Da Passano Institute is, for over 30 years now, to bring Europe to the school.

Students are given the opportunity to learn about the world in which they live in its various socio-cultural and linguistic articulations. In support of this, the  school promotes the possibility of attending a school abroad for a period (up to one year) through INTERCULTURA, the EF (Education First) organization or other similar organizations.

This School, aware of the importance of international student mobility, allows the realization of the experience abroad supporting the pupil throughout the experience in the foreign school through an Italian tutor and a foreign tutor.
