The Camilo José Cela University (UCJC) is a forward-looking institution, uniquely placed to bridge the gap between traditional and modern times. It was founded in the year 2000, as part of the SEK Educational Institution, whose proven track record in teaching excellence stretches back over 120 years. According to the Spanish statistics’ office, UCJC is the fastest growing university in the country. Over the past decade, it has won several awards from official bodies and gained a reputation as a university of quality and prestige. From the outset, it was UCJC’s mission to offer something different, more in tune with the changes happening both at home and abroad. Nowadays, employers are looking for added value from the graduates they take on. They want young employees who come with experience of the labour market and are acquainted with the wider international dimension – a workforce that speaks foreign languages and has the ability to cope with change. To be successful, we have opted to evolve our planning, our way of thinking, the degree courses we offer and our research.
